⚠ Important for golfers planning 2026 & 2027:
AmaWaterways’ golf program sailings on both AmaMagna and AmaDante run on select departures only not every sailing qualifies. Golf add-on spots are capacity-controlled and sell separately from the cruise cabins. The best cabin categories on preferred dates fill first. If golf cruise is your target for fall 2026 or any 2027 date, DM me AMA right now and I’ll confirm availability and current pricing before it’s gone.
Golf and luxury river cruising. For most golfers these have lived in separate vacation categories. AmaWaterways changed that with its Concierge Golf Program the most comprehensive golf add-on in the river cruise industry, developed in partnership with European luxury golf operator LGT Golf. You play championship courses. A private Mercedes transfers you to the first tee. Your clubs are cleaned and stored after every round. Your non-golfing partner enjoys the full AmaWaterways experience ashore while you play. And every evening you return to one of the finest ships on European rivers for dinner, wine, and the next port of call at dawn.
Two rivers. Two programs. Five courses each. Here is everything
Email me at danny.stahl@avoyanetwork.com or fill out the form on my homepage at www.dannysadventures.com — I’ll confirm golf availability, current pricing, and every active promotion for your target sailing.

Pre & Post-Cruise Land Extensions: Complete the Golf Journey
Danube: 2 Nights Budapest Pre-Cruise
The Pannonia Golf & Country Club round near Budapest can be taken pre-cruise as part of a 2-night Budapest extension. Budapest is one of Europe’s most magnificent capital cities the thermal baths, the Parliament at sunset, the Great Market Hall, and Castle Hill all within walking distance of the ship’s dock. Starting the golf program a day early in Budapest means arrival is relaxed and jet lag is managed before you board.
Danube: 3 Nights Prague Post-Cruise + Albatross Golf Club
The 3-night Prague post-cruise extension adds a fifth optional golf round at Albatross Golf Club — approximately $500 additional per person and three nights in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. Prague’s Old Town Square, Charles Bridge at dawn, the astronomical clock, and world-class Czech cuisine make this the most popular Danube golf extension. Several GolfAhoy group departures package the full 12-day program including Prague and Budapest as one seamless trip.
Seine: Paris and Normandy Extensions
The Impressions of the Seine & Paris itinerary already includes Paris as a destination during the cruise. Pre-cruise Paris extensions add 2 additional nights for deeper city exploration before boarding AmaDante. Normandy post-cruise extensions are available for travelers who want to combine the Normandy golf courses with the D-Day beach history — an extraordinary pairing that only AmaWaterways’ Seine golf program makes possible in one seamless journey.
Why Book Your AmaWaterways Golf Cruise Through Danny’s Adventures
I confirm golf add-on availability separately from cabin availability — golf spots are capacity-controlled independently of stateroom inventory
I know which specific cabin on AmaMagna delivers the best experience for golfers who want a larger stateroom — AmaMagna’s suites at 355+ square feet are among the largest standard staterooms in river cruising
I coordinate the Prague and Budapest hotel extensions alongside the cruise booking as one seamless reservation
I apply every active AmaWaterways promotion to the cruise fare the golf add-on is priced separately, but the underlying cruise savings still apply
AmaWaterways pays my commission from their own revenue. You pay the same as booking direct. Often less with advisor-only promotions.
Frequently Asked Questions: AmaWaterways Golf Cruises
What is the AmaWaterways Concierge Golf Program?
The AmaWaterways Concierge Golf Program is an optional add-on available on select Danube sailings aboard AmaMagna and Seine sailings aboard AmaDante. Developed in partnership with European luxury golf operator LGT Golf, the program includes up to five rounds at championship-level courses with luxury Mercedes transfers, pre-arranged tee times, range balls, golf cart, à la carte clubhouse lunch with beer and wine, post-round club cleaning, and a premium welcome kit including Titleist or Callaway golf balls, shoe bag, and course guides. It is the most comprehensive golf package available in the river cruise industry.
What if my travel partner doesn’t golf?
Non-golfing travel companions continue on AmaWaterways’ standard included shore excursions while golfers are on course. The golf visits replace the golfer’s standard excursion on the same day. All other AmaWaterways inclusions — all meals, wines, Chef’s Table, Sip & Sail, wellness activities, and remaining port excursions — are available to both guests throughout. AmaWaterways’ golf program is specifically designed for couples where one partner golfs and one does not.
How much does the AmaWaterways golf add-on cost?
The AmaWaterways Danube Concierge Golf Program is priced as an add-on to the cruise fare starting at approximately $2,999 per person for the 5-course package. The Seine program pricing is comparable. Cruise fares for AmaMagna start from approximately $3,100 per person for a Category E stateroom on 7-night Danube sailings. The optional Prague post-cruise extension adds approximately $500 per person for the fifth Albatross Golf Club round. A certified advisor provides the exact all-in pricing for your preferred sailing date and cabin category.
